Auralite (also called the Auralite Crystal) is a crystal resource in Sandustry that is tied to the Aura Extractor machine. It is one of the least-documented parts of the game — the official wiki has a placeholder page for it with no content yet.
What we know
- The official wiki has a page reserved for Auralite Crystal, which confirms the resource exists, but the page is currently empty.
- The Aura Extractor machine is grouped in the official wiki's "Special" buildings category, and unlocking it grants an Xbox achievement ("Unlock Aura Extraction", 70 Gamerscore).
Update (2026-08-30): achievement descriptions show the Aura system is a circle mechanic, not a mineral. Aura Extraction is unlocked through the Swarm Console, and the "Full Circle" achievement is "Fill the whole Aura circle so the next factory tier becomes available." So "Aura" in the game refers to that circle/factory-tier mechanic — whether a separate "Auralite Crystal" resource exists is unconfirmed.
What we still need to confirm
- Whether a separate "Auralite Crystal" resource exists at all.
- If it does, whether the Aura Extractor produces it or consumes it.
- What Auralite is used for — upgrades, research, or a production chain.
The pattern from fluxite
The Flux Emanator converts Voidbloom into fluxite at a 1:1 ratio, and fluxite upgrades tools, weapons and drones. If the Aura Extractor follows the same pattern, Auralite is likely another upgrade or specialized resource. But until the wiki is written, treat that as speculation.
